Site-specific durational performance. I lay a line of blue yarn along a route through the streets of south-east London, linking sites historically connected with water (the old bath house, the filled-in canal, the historic healing well of Camberwell). I retrace my steps, knitting it up and collecting stories and small found items into my knitting.
The piece was reworked as Ravel: Knitting a Row for “Roam the Rows” in Chester. The yarn ran along one the city’s historic Tudor shopping arcades, incorporating small objects donated by shops along the route.
