Durational performance and cumulative textile. I sit in a gallery space, surrounded by a sea of yarn. Through periods of several hours, I knit to continue adding to a 2-m wide panel echoing one of Mark Rothko’s paintings. After each performance the textile is hung in the space, its unfinished edge trailing yarn and suggesting its future continuation.
